The Language of Technology
Technology is changing the world in a big way. A website used to be an extraordinarily costly investment, even for the most basic of sites. Today, there are site builders, and they’re not too complicated to someone who has some tech savvy. We hear it from time to time, that a client has tried to build their own site, but it just didn’t work or look professional. Because of that, we take on the endeavor for them.
The same goes for ads: Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc. They are now aiming to enable those with an inkling to try ads on their own. We, too, pick up clients who have tried this and spent countless hundreds or thousands of dollars to very little gain from their argerous efforts. This brings up the point that there is a language of expertise enabling businesses like ours to flourish. When we speak to a mechanic shop, for example, yes, we could look on YouTube and do our own engine swap, but that requires us to spend time learning something that we are likely to not do properly, inevitably having to go back to an expert anyways and potentially have to pay even more since we made such a terrible attempt.
At the end of the day, do what you do best, as we do. Your time is too valuable to be attempting computer science with nothing but YouTube and Google searches in your toolbelt.
