Recently, while working on some Facebook ads for a client, we were reminded of just how important digital advertising literacy truly is. This particular client is a gym owner who was getting constantly rejected by the Facebook platform when attempting to post his ads on his business account. He had given up, more or less, and thought it was a lost cause.
Admittedly, with what he was trying to accomplish, we were having some struggles bypassing Facebook's ever restricting ad functionality, but after finding the right wording and content strategy, we got closer to what we needed to make this campaign a winner. The last step we had to take was to get Facebook to review the ads in more depth to see that we weren't trying to manipulate or abuse the Terms of Service, rather persuasively post for our client, who was aiming to help make people more healthy and fit.
After proceeding to take right action with the Facebook team and platform, vwalah, we went live with ads and are helping him generate leads left and right. He was seeing them come in through his email as well as a Google Sheet, which served as a database for mutual lead accountability. Expertise pays, and we aim for nothing less than success!
