Reviews: Friend or Foe?
Do you care about what other people think? If you’re like most of us, you positive and negative feedback from those around you, at least to an extent. It’s human; it's a piece of mental programming that allows you to better everything you do.
When it comes to business, some say the customer is always right. Others feel that there are exceptions to that rule, while some feel it’s their way or the highway. Any of these outlooks have their place and time, but in today’s digital world, the way your business operates can have a lasting impact online through reviews. They can make or break you. Who wants to go to a restaurant with 2 out of 5 stars when there’s another down the road with a perfect 5 out of 5?
Google Reviews, Yelp, Facebook, etc. are all platforms where your clients/customers can tell their side of the story and share their experience with your establishment. Ensure your team and business recognize this new reality and that when they engage with the world as your representative, they’re doing so with the hope of getting delightful online reviews.
