Have you ever received a random cold call? We have too! When Results Magnet began, the calls and emails were common, but these days, they’re simply expected. When you answer these calls, it can be easy to say something out of context or rude. However, this is the story of how we took one of these calls and ran with it. We didn’t become a client of this particular caller, but we mutually benefited in an even more monumental manner.
After our initial call and meeting, it seemed the service offering wasn’t a fit. However, we and this salesperson stayed in contact over the days, weeks, and now years. This relationship developed over time, and we now have partnered on multiple deals and referred each other to multiple beneficial deals that have lead to thousands of dollars in revenue. The moral of the story is keep your options open. It’s important to avoid wasting time, but sometimes those who go above and beyond can be partners, not pests.
